Breakdown of your monthly epenses? rent, food, cell phone…?
I am trying to figure out a monthly budget for living in Shibuya, Tokyo.
rent = ¥272k/m
phone = ¥3k/m
cell phone = ¥5k/m NTTDocomo
transportation = ¥20k/m
health/travel insurance =
Utilities = INCLUDED IN RENT
food = ¥40k/m
play around money = ¥15k
save money = ¥100k/m
am I missing anything? is the info I posted similar to anyone elses?
Your cell phone bill seems low. All of mine (and most people I know) spend at least 10,000 yen a month or more on their phones. What about internet? Are you gonna have service at home or are you gonna go to a net cafe? Depending on where you live and where you work, your transportation may cost more too. Is your company subsidizing your apartment? If not, then your rent will be at least 70,000-80,000 yen a month. If you don’t live in Shibuya, then your rent will probably be cheaper.
Planning for a worry-free trip!
