that price you have, is it for all 5 of you? if so, I don’t think you’ll get much lower than that – if anyone can find cheaper, I’ll be amazed!
Where are you staying? Hostels are quite cheap usually, or since there’s 5 of you, renting an apartment for the week might work out even cheaper depending on where you’re going. Hotels are overpriced and overrated, so don’t book those.
Book now, before the price goes up, and make sure they can’t charge you extra if fuel costs rise again – read the fine print.

PS: if you want other people to book for you, might want to mention where you’re from – guessing UK, but where? If you’re in London, Eurostar and Thalis can get you to the south of France, but if you need to get in London from North-England or Scotland first there’s that transport cost too.
